Greetings from the Philadelphia couple. We're still enjoying the Strawberry Preserve with Lapsang Souchong on morning toast - love the smoky flavor and aroma. We look forward to using the Cider Sage Jelly with grilled or roasted pork and the Concord Grape Preserve with peanut butter, as you suggested.

Mauro is currently alternating four menus: roots, fruits, flowers and leaves. We have had the first three. Roots is the best and fruits second. The problem with flowers, which Ruth had, is that only artichokes are a main ingredient. To see our roots menu click here: https://epicures.wordpress.com/2021/07/27/mirazur-menton-12/

Oh my gosh, Les Collines are my favorite jams as well. I was also at the GB farmers market last week to buy some of the Strawberry Lapsang Souchong. The Plum jelly is also delicious!

I’ve heard of him! 😉

I was so disappointed Mirazur was closed for renovations when I was there in February when writing a piece on the Lemon Festival for the FT, but to see what influence he has on the food community of the town was incredible. And so were the cakes from his bakery… will have to go back! 😊

Happy to report that I have heard of Mauro and Mirazur in Menton. Sadly couldn’t visit on last trip to Côte d’Azur in 2018 or so. He is remarkable.
