Some people look at photos of puppies to make them happy. I look at these photos and feel the same!

Feb 2020 I was traveling around the Texas, New Orleans and Florida escaping Philadelphias winter. I was following the soon to be opened Laser Wolf on Instagram, hoping to get a reservation as soon as I got back to Philly. I got home 1 week before lockdown. The first restaurant I went to once Philly opened to outdoor dining was Laser Wolf. It was a typical Philly night, hot and humid. My husband, 2 of our sons and I were curbside and no a/c but the food was incredible and we were so happy to be out eating in Philly at last! One of the best memories from 2020.

I have thought often of the brief time Bridge Creek was in existence and regret its passing. Do you know why it lasted such a short time?

My husband has celiac disease, so I was excited to see "rice waffle flour" and a "rice waffle." Most of us who are celiac-adjacent are also label readers, of necessity, so I was disappointed but not totally surprised to find that the "rice flour" is actually half wheat flour. Oh, well. I do wonder, though, if the 13 colonies' rice flour was actually all rice? Probably?
