I’d reconsider Josephine Chez Dumonet. Recent visit was a disappointment. Service confused, wrong dishes brought to table. Based on the Boeuf Bourguignon I’d speculate there has been a change in the kitchen. Quiet sad. Loved that place
I admire and respect your work (you were one of my inspirations to pursue a career detour into food), but I've noticed recently you've had some errors with regards to Japanese foods/ingredients. If you ever need anyone to proof your posts on Japanese food I'd be happy to help.
I feel like going out in Paris with Ruth Reichl would be absolutely insane and iconic.

I just love this newsletter. It top drawer. Thx
Love the Paris list. I’d add Miznon (SWANA/Israeli food) and the Jewish bakery Florence Khan.
Great list for Paris! (the link for Chez Georges is for a bistro in South Carolina)
How embarrassing! Chez Georges in Paris doesn't have a website, but this is the link for reservations: https://www.thefork.fr/restaurant/chez-georges-r330365#booking
Thank you for sharing.
I love that poster from the top of the article so I shared it in my newsletter Handpicked this week :) https://mailchi.mp/00db945abc43/29mar2023
