Loved your remembrance of the LA Times Executive Dining Room, I worked there for some time. Was Klaus Kopf the chef when you were there? Wonderful place!

I will be at Sundance this year for a girls weekend. I am so looking forward to it! And am now hoping I can get tickets to your movie. We will be there at the beginning of the festival. Do you know if your movie is being shown during the first or second week?

The food and items that you feature in this column certainly sound enticing and/or delicious but generally seem to be well in excess of the prices that most of us would be willing to pay. The Ugly Drum pastrami prompted this comment at $53-$64 per lb. waste included. Maybe NY City or LA but for the rest of us???? But keep it coming; I always enjoy reading.

I will look out for your film Food and Country. Isn't it wonderful that we continue to learn and grow in all aspects of our lives. I hope I am evolving in a better way. This film will help.
